Look Around You

Didn't go to the quiz this evening because I was otherwise engaged, but I did get home in time to watch the new satirical show Look Around You on BBC Two. This was most excellent. This is series two, and the whole series is a spoof of Tomorrow's World. It was very funny.

Exciting news

I have exciting news: I have been getting on very well with CC this month, and she is now my girfriend.

Victory (at last)

Last night we won the OWS quiz by a margin of 1m points. There were four of us in the team and we all provided vital answers that the others didn't know. e.g. GeeDee with his boxing knowledge and Lint with his Duchy knowledge. Quiz was very busy so we won £10 each + Carling.

Jerry Springer - the Opera

I saw Jerry Springer - the Opera last night and enjoyed it. I don't know what all the fuss was about. There wasn't that much swearing and it wasn't blasphemous at all.

Today I am ordering yet more stuff from the Internet: I have ordered some stuff to connect my Psion 3a to my PC.

TV has now arrived. It's quite big, so I have had to re-arrange the furniture a little. Now time to a rest.

By this afternoon, I will have a TV in all the rooms of my house. Except for the toilet - it would be madness to have one in there.
