I'm off

I'm sure that you will all know by now that I am leaving this fine country and heading north of the border for a new chapter in my life, which now also includes my lovely girlfriend.

We went up to Edinburgh, and ended up buying a flat! But we need to sort a few things out like getting the right mortgage.

Very exciting.

I am currently full of the joys of spring.

Buses

It really is true that you waiting ages for a bus and then three come along at once.

It's ok though because I like buses.

The dark side won again this year. Boo them! We'll win next year!!!

Fruit Cake

I used to be a big fan of fruit cake.

But now that fruit cake is so widely available, I've really rather gone off it.

Here we go again...

Have to admit that the finance transformation project was an excellent smokescreen.

Team night out

I went on my first team night out for a while last night. We went to the Megabowl. Seems our Head Of enjoyed it so much with her other team that she thought that she would take us lot too.

Sadly my bowling performance deteriorated during the night, but this may have been down to the volume of alcohol consumed. 99 in the first round and 75 in the second. Yes, rubbish I know.
