Things are on the up

I am happy to say that things are on the up for me. I believe that this is due to a combination of factors:

  • I have snapped out of the bad mood that I have been in all summer. I guess that this can partly be put down to post-qualification blues, but there was a bit more to it than that in reality.
  • I have a new role at work that I think I am really going to enjoy, despite being sent over to that other building.
  • It is almost Christmas and Christmas is a great time of year.

I think your new job will be fab. If our visits to Norwich overlap you'll have to show me the sights and sounds, as I've never been. Something which will change in the New Year.

Tsuki - I'm sure that we can make our visits overlap. I am going to be there lots in Jan-March by the looks of it.

I think you'll love the job too for reasons which I'm sure I'll tell you at some point soon!

Sit him in a pub and stay silent for long enough, and he'll tell everyone!

Chip: That is *so* not fair!! :-p

Jimbobjo will like his new job because he'll have the chance to lead things like projects -- but not llamas unfortunately -- talk to new people all over the country, devise new ways of doing things, travel to Norwich ('cos he likes Norwich) and find out that there really are people who are exceptionally bad at their job. Bonus. This still doesn't make up for the nasty toilets though.

I don't think that I want anything to do with llamas.

Also, I don't think the toilets are really that bad.

Another reason why working in YH is good is because no-one is going to want to come all the way over and ask me questions relating to my old jobs. I still get questions relating to my first job. I wouldn't mind except that, after asking for my advice, they completely ignore me and continue doing the valuation wrongly.

I think they can probably still phone you to ask questions. Or just wait for you to head back to the old office of your own accord. Should be about 10 minutes?
